I honestly don't think there is a stereotype of clothes but there still is a traditional dykey haircut that you can pick out at 40 yards. Luckily it is still distinct enough from the short haired soccer mom to be mostly reliable as an indicator, especially with no makeup and comfortable shoes. This is more a reflection of mob mentality than the fact that a majority of fans are homophobes. The situation does point out the important, and often brave, role which being visible and out has in the promotion of tolerance and diversity.
